Cairns will turn into reggae town in September when the Reggaetown Cairns Music Festival 2011 is held on Saturday 10th September at Tjapukai Aboriginal Cultural Park, nearby to your ideal festival accommodation, Sebel Cairns. The event will celebrate its 16th anniversary in 2011 and is one of Cairn’s much anticipated music festivals in the north tropics of Queensland.
The long-running Reggaetown Cairns Music Festival started in 1995 and has been entertaining Cairns locals for over 16 years. It is a fun event for the whole family with expected crowds of over 5000 people. The music event not only showcases an eclectic mix of music, bands, DJs and sound systems, but will feature the following entertainment:
