Gala dinners, awards nights, school formals and other large events are a Sebel Cairns speciality. The Grand Ballroom is often utilised for this type of occasion as it seats up to 420 and is the largest ballroom in Cairns. The Grand Ballroom is simply stunning, with high ceilings and chandeliers.

Outdoor options include Daintrees Pooldeck which is also very popular, and the adjacent Thornton Peak, which is a suitable for wet weather.
